Epic Giveaway, Including Kindle Paperwhite!

Happy Monday, Everyone!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Great news : There are all KINDS of exciting things going on. I have tons of reasons to celebrate!

1) Friday's post over at Musings on Fantasia was my 500th! That's right. 500 posts. I can't believe enough time has passed for me to post so many times. It's crazy! My first post on this blog was on April 19, 2012. It's been almost 2 years since I started blogging. Since that time, I've done 3-5 posts every week without fail (uh, you know, except for around the holidays when I always take 10-14 days off :D).

Which leads me into my second reason for celebration:

2) April 19th--roughly three weeks from now--is my 2nd Blogoversary. Yea! I didn't do much for the first one, so I think this one calls for a Par-Tae!

3) My first historical fiction book, Citadels of Fire, will be out May 27th. It's coming at me fast.

4) Book 2 of my crime fiction saga, Desolate Mantleis almost ready for release. It probably won't be out for another couple of months (date pending) but I'm getting ready to do a cover reveal.

5) The Botanistanother stand-alone crime fiction, won't be out until next spring, but my publisher wants to do a big cover reveal when I get enough to-reads on Goodreads.com, and I'm still working toward that goal.

So, to celebrate all these things, check out my epic giveaway below. Each prize will go to a different entrant, so the more entries the better. The grand prize is a Kindle Paperwhite!

But first...let's celebrate with the creepy author's dance:

My Monday Looks Crazy! How's Yours?

Happy Monday, wonderful readers! So just got a few quick things today:

1) This week I'm super busy trying to finish up review copies of Quantum Entanglement and get them out, as well as keep prior commitments I'm behind on. I've had some life issues lately--relatives have suddenly needed help moving, I've gotten very sick, my sister got married a few weeks ago (still recovering over here) and this past weekend I spent two days selling books as a massive, well-attended vendor fair.

All these things are actually very good, but they've all combined to put me very behind schedule. I have some guest posts scheduled for the Dark Remnants blog tour, so make sure and drop by for the links, not forgetting to enter the Giveaway. Other than that, I may be somewhat absent on the blog this week. By the end of the week, everything should be back to normal, though.

So, please bear with me and I'd really appreciate your support by dropping by my guest posts and tour stops.

2) By the way, the vendor fair I went to was called Peach Days. It's an annual tradition in Brigham City, Utah, which is about twenty miles north of where I live. Something like 50,000 people visit Peach Days every year and I sold somewhere between 50 and 60 books in two days. A new record! So exciting! Yea!

3) Finally, please hop over and visit Rebecca at Vicariously! who will be doing a book review for Dark Remnants today.

Thanks so much for all your wonderful support  and have a great Monday!

Have you entered the Dark Remnants Giveaway yet?

500-Follower Give Away!!!

Today's blog tour stop is an Interview over at Dab of Darkness. See what you think!

Okay, so I've probably had 500 followers for awhile, now. Actually, on this blog, I have just under 500 all together, but I'm very close. On my other blog, Musings on Fantasia, I have closer to 550, so I figured it was high time for a giveaway.

Unfortunately, as much a I love my international readers, I can't afford to ship to you anymore. I recently shipped a book to the Philippines and it cost me nearly three times what I paid for the book itself. So, I'm doing two different giveaways. One is for a signed print copy of Persistence of Vision, but only U.S. Residents can enter.  The second is for three e-book copies of Persistence of Vision, and this giveaway is open to anyone with an email address.

Announcements and Giveaways

Just a few announcements and a reminder about some giveaways.

I did a guest post yesterday for Precious's Dystopian Domination on Fragments of Life. I had so much fun writing the post, I'd love it if you'd all hop over and take a look at it. It comes with a great giveaway. (Not that I'm trying to bribe anyone or anything. :D)

I also wanted to remind everyone that my debut novel, Persistence of Vision, is available now from Tate Publishing. It will be available nation wide on January 29, 2013.

Finally, check out my giveaways! I have one giving away two great historical fiction novels and another giving away 3 ARCs of Persistence of Vision. Check them out if you haven't!

Everyone have a great weekend! :D

My First Giveaway! Hooray!

Photo Caption: ubuntuforums.org
Okay, technically this is my second giveaway. I gave away a $10 Amazon gift card during Banned Books Week. But this is the first giveaway I'm hosting all by my lonesome, from my blog, for my own purposes. *Squee* I've been blogging for roughly six months, now, and I've never done one. Why? I'll tell you...I don't know...Just never had. Well, I'm going to remedy that now.

Last week I was plugging along, just minding my own business and posting my blogs, and then I saw it! My post number read: 100! Oh my gosh I've just hit one hundred posts! This also coincides with my blog's six month anniversary! (It was on 10/19, but close enough. :D)

Unlike my other blog, I don't quite have 300 followers on this one. But, between GFC, Linky, Networked Blogs, and email, I'm really close--about 275, I think. So, we'll call this my Just Under 300 Followers Giveaway. Yea! :D

My first historical fiction novel is still ten months from release, but my first fantasy novel will be out much sooner. For details, see my other blog, Musings on Fantasia. I'm doing an ARC giveaway there.

In celebration, I'm hosting giveaways on both my blogs! Click here to see my other giveaway. Since I focus a lot of attention for this blog on historical fiction, I'm going to be giving away two books by one of my favorite historical fiction authors: Michelle Moran. I'll be giving away a copy of Nefertiti and The Heretic Queen. Both are awesome books and amazing examples of compelling historical fiction.

Enter the Rafflecopter below and don't forget to check out the giveaway on my other blog! Good luck! :D
