Top Ten Tuesday: Fall TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list  that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

Top 10 Books on my Fall TBR List (all covers courtesy of goodreads.com unless otherwise linked)

Because it's customary to read them around Halloween:

10. Dracula by Bram Stoker -- Because I read it every Halloween. Oh, and it's awesome!

9. This Dark Endeavor/Such Wicked Intent by Kenneth Oppell -- It's been a few years since I read Frankenstein, but I really want to read this retelling. There are only two books so far, and I think it's going to be a trilogy. If I have time, I might try to read it around Halloween.

8. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte -- Another one I try to read in the fall, but it's been a few years since I've done it.

Because I would have gotten to them next anyway:

7. Eleanor and Beatrysel by Johnny Worthen -- Johnny's a good friend of mine and I feel totally guilty for not having read his books yet. Really want to get to them.

6. Pitch Green by The Brothers Washburn -- more JFP authors. I read book 1 and really liked it so I can't wait to read book 2.

Because I really need to read the next installment in the series:

5. Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor

4. City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

3. Of Triton by Anna Banks

2. Dark Triumph/Mortal Heart by Robin Lafevers

Because...just because:

1. Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn -- Still haven't read this one and the film is coming out soon. Really need to get on it!

I got Gone Girl out of the library last year and my mum read it and loved it but I never got round to it.
