Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"At last there came a time when the driver went further afield than he had yet gone, and during his absence, the horses began to tremble worse than ever and to snort and scream with fright. I could not see any cause for it, for the howling of the wolves had ceased altogether. But just then the moon, sailing through the black clouds, appeared behind the jagged crest of a beetling, pine-clad rock, and by it's light I saw around us a ring of wolves, with white teeth and lolling red tongues, with sinewy limbs and shaggy hair. They were a hundred times more terrible in the grim silence which held them than even when they howled."What are you reading this week?
Ooh nice!

Love this teaser, Liesel. Dracula is such a great book - it's like the beginning of vampire lore for me :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by earlier.
