Top Ten Tuesday--Series, RMQ + Blog Tour Stops

Today's blog tour stop is a Guest Post at Bookingly Yours.

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week they will post a new Top Ten list  that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet

So many series, so little time. I'm sure this list could go on and one, but that's why they call it Top Ten, right? All covers courtesy of Goodreads.com.

8. Matched Trilogy

4. Shatter Me Trilogy

3. Soul Screamers--my sister got me this for my birthday, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

2. Eve Trilogy--this one's on my kindle. Really need to start it!

1. Razorland Trilogy

Random Movie Quotes (RMQ)

Source
Last RMQ was: "This work we perform...it does not serve to look backward. This city; wickedness will ever leave it's spores here. You and I are not magicians. We cannot see through walls or into men's minds...We fight with all the skills we may muster. Beyond that, we may do no more."

This was a very recent one, said by Matthew MacFadyen in the BBC series, Ripper Street. It was kind of an unfair RMQ but I loved the quote so much I had to use it. No one guessed it. :D

Today's RMQ is:

"The man that passes the sentence should swing the sword."

One point for character, one for actor, one for the show. Good luck!

  1. RMQ - I know its G.O.T. I wanna say the character is Robb. As for the actor.... IDK offhand. The show is amazing. I'm not sure I could handle the books now though, since I do watch the show. I totally want to read Eve and Dearly Departed too, but they didn't make my lists!

    1. It IS GoT, though it's not Robb that said it. Great guess, though. Points for you! The books are a bit hard to get into, but actually watching the first season before I dove into the books actually helped me, I think. Thanks for stopping by! :D

  5. You have some really good choices on your list - some of them made my list today as well. The Lotus War series I have already started, and I thought it was amazing. Soul Screamers is great as well, I am looking forward to the next installment in that series.

Thanks for stopping by at (un)Conventnional Bookviews earlier :)

    Happy reading.

  6. Look at all those dystopias! Just so you know... I LOVE STORMDANCER! So you must tackle that immediately. (Also kinda glad you have it on your list.) Also Matched is a fantastic trilogy with more of a subtle, less action-oriented dystopia – well the second book is a bit of a meh, but Reached is amazing! As well as Blood of Eden. I love Julie Kagawa to bits – have just finished The Eternity Cure, the second book, and it was great! I still need to finish the Uglies series. Have only read the first.

You've got a nice list here and I'm glad you've checked out mine and said I'll LOVE the Wheel of Time. Because I sure hope so if I'm going invest myself in 14 books one after the other haha!

  7. You basically need to stop whatever it is you are doing right now and start Shatter Me.

  8. "The man that passes the sentence should swing the sword."<--if I remember correctly Ned tells this to Bran.

Your list reminds me I need to Luxe, Matched, and Eve to my list to start as well.

Thanks for stopping by Literary, etc.
